Y avisaron a Salomón, diciéndo le: He aquí, Adonías tiene miedo del rey Salomón, y se ha asido de los cuernos del altar, diciendo: “Que el rey Salomón me jure hoy que no matará a espada a su siervo.”

Solomon was told, “See, Adonijah is afraid of King Solomon. See, he has taken hold of the horns of the altar, saying, ‘Let King Solomon promise me today that he will not put his servant to death with the sword.’”
