A llora Abner spedì dei messaggeri a Davide per dirgli: «A chi appartiene il paese? Fa’ alleanza con me e il mio braccio sarà al tuo servizio per volgere dalla tua parte tutto Israele».


And Abner sent messengers to David where he was, saying, Whose is the land? Make your league with me, and my hand shall be with you to bring all Israel over to you.
