I l re le chiese: «Non c’è dietro a tutto questo la mano di Ioab?» La donna rispose: «Com’è vero che tu vivi, o re, mio signore, la cosa sta né più né meno come ha detto il re mio signore. Infatti, il tuo servo Ioab è colui che mi ha dato questi ordini ed è lui che ha suggerito tutte queste parole alla tua serva.
