C osì gli Israeliti abitarono nel paese d’Egitto, nella terra di Goscen; ebbero delle proprietà, furono fecondi e si moltiplicarono oltremodo.

¶ Thus Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the land of Goshen; and they had possessions therein and grew and multiplied exceedingly.
