E gli se ne tornò da Giuda e gli disse: «Non l’ho trovata e, per di più, la gente del luogo mi ha detto: “Qui non c’è stata nessuna prostituta”».

And he returned to Judah and said, I cannot find her; and also the men of the place said that there was no cult prostitute in this place.
