T hen Achish called David and said to him, “As the Lord lives, you have been honest. You go out and come in with me in the army and it is good in my eyes. I have found nothing wrong in you from the day you came to me until this day. But you are not pleasing in the eyes of the leaders.

Ахиш призвал Давида и сказал ему: − Верно, как и то, что Господь жив: ты честен, и мне было бы приятно позволить тебе служить со мной в войске. С того дня, когда ты пришел ко мне, и до сегодняшнего дня я не нашел в тебе ничего плохого, но вожди тебя не одобряют.
