W hen all the men of Israel who had hidden themselves in the hill country of Ephraim heard that the Philistines had run away, they ran after them in the battle.

وَسَمِعَ كُلُّ بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ الَّذِينَ كانُوا مُختَبِئِينَ فِي المِنطَقَةِ الجَبَلِيَّةِ مِنْ أفْرايِمَ الجُنُودَ الفِلِسْطِيِّينَ وَهُمْ يَفِرُّونَ. فانضَمُّوا إلَى جَيشِهِمْ فِي المَعرَكَةِ، وَراحُوا يُطارِدُونَ الفِلِسْطِيِّينَ.
