L ikewise all the men of Israel which had hid themselves in mount Ephraim, when they heard that the Philistines fled, even they also followed hard after them in the battle.

وَسَمِعَ كُلُّ بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ الَّذِينَ كانُوا مُختَبِئِينَ فِي المِنطَقَةِ الجَبَلِيَّةِ مِنْ أفْرايِمَ الجُنُودَ الفِلِسْطِيِّينَ وَهُمْ يَفِرُّونَ. فانضَمُّوا إلَى جَيشِهِمْ فِي المَعرَكَةِ، وَراحُوا يُطارِدُونَ الفِلِسْطِيِّينَ.
