Judges 12:5 ~ ﺍﻟﻘﻀﺎﺓ 12:5

T he people of Gilead took the crossing places of the Jordan beside Ephraim. When any of the Ephraimite men ran away and said, “Let me cross over,” the men of Gilead would say to him, “Are you an Ephraimite?” If he said, “No,”

وَاسْتَولَى الجِلْعادِيُّونَ عَلَى مَعابِرِ نَهْرِ الأُردُنّ لِيَمْنَعُوا رِجالَ أفْرايِمَ مِنَ العُبُورِ. وَعِندَما كانَ أيٌّ مِنَ النّاجِينَ مِنْ أفْرايِمَ يَقُولُ: «أُريدُ أنْ أعبُرَ.» كانَ الجِلعادِيُّونَ يَسْألُونَهُ: «هَلْ أنْتَ مِنْ بَنِي أفْرايِمَ؟» فَيَقُولُ: «لا!»
