Judges 12:5 ~ ﺍﻟﻘﻀﺎﺓ 12:5

T he Gileadites seized the fords of the Jordan before the Ephraimites arrived. And when any Ephraimite who escaped said, “Let me cross over,” the men of Gilead would say to him, “ Are you an Ephraimite?” If he said, “No,”

وَاسْتَولَى الجِلْعادِيُّونَ عَلَى مَعابِرِ نَهْرِ الأُردُنّ لِيَمْنَعُوا رِجالَ أفْرايِمَ مِنَ العُبُورِ. وَعِندَما كانَ أيٌّ مِنَ النّاجِينَ مِنْ أفْرايِمَ يَقُولُ: «أُريدُ أنْ أعبُرَ.» كانَ الجِلعادِيُّونَ يَسْألُونَهُ: «هَلْ أنْتَ مِنْ بَنِي أفْرايِمَ؟» فَيَقُولُ: «لا!»
