H e met a Jew there named Aquila who was born in the country of Pontus. He had lived in the country of Italy a short time. His wife Priscilla was with him. Claudius, who was the leader of the country, had told all the Jews to leave Rome. Paul went to see Aquila and Priscilla.

Qui trovò un Giudeo, di nome Aquila, oriundo del Ponto, giunto di recente dall’Italia insieme con sua moglie Priscilla, perché Claudio aveva ordinato a tutti i Giudei di lasciare Roma. Egli si unì a loro.
