a nd found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla (for Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome) and came unto them.

Qui trovò un Giudeo, di nome Aquila, oriundo del Ponto, giunto di recente dall’Italia insieme con sua moglie Priscilla, perché Claudio aveva ordinato a tutti i Giudei di lasciare Roma. Egli si unì a loro.
