T he teachers of the Law and the proud religious law-keepers thought to themselves, “Who is this Man Who speaks as if He is God? Who can forgive sins but God only?”

فَبَدَأ مُعَلِّمُو الشَّرِيْعَةِ وَالفِرِّيْسِيُّونَ يُفَكِّرُونَ وَيَقُولُونَ: «مَنْ هُوَ هَذا الَّذِي يُهِيْنُ اللهَ بِكَلامِهِ؟ فَمَنْ غَيْرُ اللهِ وَحدِهِ يَستَطِيْعُ أنْ يَغفِرَ الخَطايا؟»
