W hen eight days were over, they did the religious act of becoming a Jew on the Child. He was named Jesus. This name was given to Him by the angel when Mary was told He was to be born.

¶ Y pasados los ocho días para circuncidar al niño, llamaron su nombre JESÚS; el cual le fue puesto por el ángel antes que él fuera concebido en el vientre.
