T he people outside were waiting. They were surprised and wondered why Zacharias stayed so long in the house of God.

وَكانَ النّاسُ خارِجاً فِي انتِظارِ زَكَرِيّا وَهَمْ يَتَساءَلُونَ عَنْ سَبَبِ تَأخُّرِهِ فِي الهَيكَلِ.
