P eter remembered the words Jesus had said to him, “Before a rooster crows, you will say three times you do not know Me.” Peter went outside and cried with loud cries.

حِينَئِذٍ تَذَكَّرَ بُطرُسُ الكَلامَ الَّذِي قالَهُ يَسُوعُ لَهُ: «سَتُنكِرُنِي ثَلاثَ مَرّاتٍ قَبلَ أنْ يَصِيحَ الدِّيكُ،» فَخَرَجَ وَبَكَى بِمَرارَةٍ شَدِيدَةٍ.
