T hey went up to the valley of Eshcol and saw the land. Then they took the desire away from the people of Israel so that they did not go into the land the Lord had given them.

Salirono fino alla valle di Eshkol; e, dopo aver visto il paese, scoraggiarono il cuore dei figli d'Israele, e così essi non entrarono nel paese che l'Eterno aveva loro dato.
