T he men rowed hard to return to land, but they could not, for the wind was blowing even worse against them.

لَكِنَّ الرِّجالَ حاوَلُوا أنْ يُجَدِّفُوا عائِدِينَ إلَى اليابِسَةِ، فَلَمْ يَستَطِيعُوا، لِأنَّ البَحرَ أصْبَحَ أكثَرَ هَيَجاناً.
