N evertheless the men rowed hard to return to land, but they could not, for the sea continued to grow more tempestuous against them.

لَكِنَّ الرِّجالَ حاوَلُوا أنْ يُجَدِّفُوا عائِدِينَ إلَى اليابِسَةِ، فَلَمْ يَستَطِيعُوا، لِأنَّ البَحرَ أصْبَحَ أكثَرَ هَيَجاناً.
