Jeremiah 40:9 ~ ﺃﺭﻣﻴﺎء 40:9

T hen Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, made a promise to them and their men, saying, “Do not be afraid of serving the Babylonians. Stay in the land and serve the king of Babylon. Then it will go well with you.

وَأقسَمَ جَدَلْيا بْنُ أخِيقامَ بْنُ شافانَ لَهُمْ وَلِرِجالِهِمْ فَقالَ: «لا تَخافُوا مِنْ أنْ تَخدِمُوا البابِلِيِّينَ. فَاسكُنُوا وَاخدِمُوا مَلِكَ بابِلَ. حِينَئِذٍ، سَتَكُونُونَ بِخَيرٍ.
