Jeremiah 40:9 ~ ﺃﺭﻣﻴﺎء 40:9

A nd Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan swore unto them and to their men, saying, Fear not to serve the Chaldeans; dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you.

وَأقسَمَ جَدَلْيا بْنُ أخِيقامَ بْنُ شافانَ لَهُمْ وَلِرِجالِهِمْ فَقالَ: «لا تَخافُوا مِنْ أنْ تَخدِمُوا البابِلِيِّينَ. فَاسكُنُوا وَاخدِمُوا مَلِكَ بابِلَ. حِينَئِذٍ، سَتَكُونُونَ بِخَيرٍ.
