I t came between the army of Egypt and the army of Israel. There was the cloud and the darkness, yet it gave light at night. And the one army did not come near the other all night.

und kam zwischen das Heer der Ägypter und das Heer Israels. Es war aber eine finstere Wolke und erleuchtete die Nacht, daß sie die ganze Nacht, diese und jene, nicht zusammenkommen konnten.
