T he Levites would bring the box in to the king’s helper. And when they saw that there was much money, the king’s writer and the head religious leader’s helper would come and empty the box. They would take out the money and return the box to its place. They did this each day, and gathered much money.

Y cuando llegaba el momento de llevar el arca al secretario del rey por medio de los levitas, si veían que había mucho dinero, venía el escriba del rey y el que estaba puesto por el Sumo sacerdote, llevaban el arca, la vaciaban y la retornaban a su lugar. Así lo hacían de día en día, y recogían mucho dinero.
