I n the thirty-ninth year of Azariah king of Judah, Menahem the son of Gadi became the king of Israel. He ruled for ten years in Samaria.

تَوَلَّى مَناحِيمُ بْنُ جادِي حُكْمَ إسْرائِيلَ فِي السَّنَةِ التّاسِعَةِ وَالثَّلاثِينَ لِحُكْمِ عَزَرْيا مَلِكاً عَلَى يَهُوذا. وَحَكَمَ مَناحِيمُ عَشَرَ سَنَواتٍ فِي السّامِرَةِ.
