I n the thirty-ninth year of Azariah king of Judah, Menahem the son of Gadi began to reign over Israel, for ten years, in Samaria.

تَوَلَّى مَناحِيمُ بْنُ جادِي حُكْمَ إسْرائِيلَ فِي السَّنَةِ التّاسِعَةِ وَالثَّلاثِينَ لِحُكْمِ عَزَرْيا مَلِكاً عَلَى يَهُوذا. وَحَكَمَ مَناحِيمُ عَشَرَ سَنَواتٍ فِي السّامِرَةِ.
