O n them he cut pictures of cherubim, palm trees and open flowers. And he covered the pictures with an even covering of gold.

وَنَقَشُوا صُوَرَ مَلائِكَةِ الكَرُوبِيمَ وَأشجارِ النَّخِيلِ وَبَراعِمِ الزُّهُورِ عَلَى البابَينِ. ثُمَّ غَشُّوهُما بِالذَّهَبِ.
