H e carved on them cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers, covered with gold evenly applied on the carved work.

وَنَقَشُوا صُوَرَ مَلائِكَةِ الكَرُوبِيمَ وَأشجارِ النَّخِيلِ وَبَراعِمِ الزُّهُورِ عَلَى البابَينِ. ثُمَّ غَشُّوهُما بِالذَّهَبِ.
