T hen the men of Judah came and there they chose David to be king over the family of Judah. They told David, “It was the men of Jabesh-gilead who buried Saul.”

Poi vennero gli uomini di Giuda e là unsero Davide re sulla casa di Giuda. Fu quindi riferito a Davide che erano stati gli uomini di Jabesh di Galaad a seppellire Saul.
