A nd say to Amasa, ‘Are you not my bone and my flesh? May God do so to me, and more also, if you will not be the captain of my army at all times instead of Joab.’”

Asimismo diréis a Amasa: ¿No eres tú también hueso mío y carne mía? Así me haga Dios, y aun me añada, si no fueres general del ejército delante de mí para siempre, en lugar de Joab.
