1 Samuel 27:1 ~ 1 Samuele 27:1

A nd David said in his heart, “Now I shall perish someday by the hand of Saul. There is nothing better for me than that I should speedily escape to the land of the Philistines; and Saul will despair of me, to seek me anymore in any part of Israel. So I shall escape out of his hand.”

Davide disse in cuor suo: «Un giorno o l’altro perirò per mano di Saul; non vi è nulla di meglio per me che rifugiarmi nel paese dei Filistei. Così Saul, perduta ogni speranza, smetterà di cercarmi per tutto il territorio d’Israele e io sfuggirò alle sue mani».
