T hen she arose, bowed her face to the earth, and said, “Here is your maidservant, a servant to wash the feet of the servants of my lord.”

فانحَنَتْ أبِيجايِلُ وَوَجهُها إلَى الأرْضِ. وَقالَتْ: «أنا مُستَعِدَّةٌ أنْ أكُونَ جارِيَةً لِسَيِّدِي داوُدَ، حَتَّى وَلَو لَمْ يَكُنْ لِي عَمَلٌ آخَرُ غَيرَ أنْ أغسِلَ أقْدامَ رِجالِهِ.»
