A nd she arose and bowed herself on her face to the earth, and said, Behold, let thy handmaid be a bondwoman to wash the feet of the servants of my lord.

فانحَنَتْ أبِيجايِلُ وَوَجهُها إلَى الأرْضِ. وَقالَتْ: «أنا مُستَعِدَّةٌ أنْ أكُونَ جارِيَةً لِسَيِّدِي داوُدَ، حَتَّى وَلَو لَمْ يَكُنْ لِي عَمَلٌ آخَرُ غَيرَ أنْ أغسِلَ أقْدامَ رِجالِهِ.»
