T hen David said to Saul, “Let no man’s heart fail because of him; your servant will go and fight with this Philistine.”

فَقالَ داوُدُ لِشاوُلَ: «لا يَنبَغِي أنْ نَسمَحَ لِجُلياتَ بِأنْ يُثَبِّطَ هِمَمَ الشَّعبِ. فَأنا خادِمُكَ مُستَعِدٌّ لِلذَّهابِ وَمُنازَلَةِ هَذا الفِلِسْطِيِّ.»
