S o they gave him seventy shekels of silver from the temple of Baal-Berith, with which Abimelech hired worthless and reckless men; and they followed him.

وَأعطُوهُ سَبعِينَ قِطعَةً فِضِّيَّةً مِنْ هَيكَلِ بَعلِ بَرِيثَ. فَاسْتَأْجَرَ أبِيمالِكُ بِها رِجالاً أدْنِياءَ، فَتَبِعُوهُ.
