A nd they gave him threescore and ten pieces of silver out of the house of Baal-berith, wherewith Abimelech hired vain and light fellows, who followed him.

وَأعطُوهُ سَبعِينَ قِطعَةً فِضِّيَّةً مِنْ هَيكَلِ بَعلِ بَرِيثَ. فَاسْتَأْجَرَ أبِيمالِكُ بِها رِجالاً أدْنِياءَ، فَتَبِعُوهُ.
