S o the people of Nineveh believed God, proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest to the least of them.

فَآمَنَ شَعبُ نِينَوَى بِاللهِ وَأعلَنُوا أنَّهُمْ سَيَصُومُونَ وَيَلبِسُونَ الخَيشَ. وَقَدْ فَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ كُلُّهُمْ، مِنْ كَبِيرِهِمْ إلَى صَغِيرِهِمْ.
