T he great court was enclosed with three rows of hewn stones and a row of cedar beams. So were the inner court of the house of the Lord and the vestibule of the temple. Hiram the Craftsman

وَأحاطَتْ أسوارٌ بِساحَةِ القَصْرِ، وَالسّاحَةِ الدّاخِلِيَّةِ لِبَيتِ اللهِ ، وَدِهلِيزِ الهَيكَلِ. بُنِيَتِ الأسْوارُ مِنْ ثَلاثَةِ صُفُوفٍ مِنَ الحِجارَةِ، وَصَفٍّ واحِدٍ مِنْ عَوارِضِ الأرْزِ.
