وَأحاطَتْ أسوارٌ بِساحَةِ القَصْرِ، وَالسّاحَةِ الدّاخِلِيَّةِ لِبَيتِ اللهِ ، وَدِهلِيزِ الهَيكَلِ. بُنِيَتِ الأسْوارُ مِنْ ثَلاثَةِ صُفُوفٍ مِنَ الحِجارَةِ، وَصَفٍّ واحِدٍ مِنْ عَوارِضِ الأرْزِ.
