A nd they took Absalom and cast him into a large pit in the woods, and laid a very large heap of stones over him. Then all Israel fled, everyone to his tent.

Poi presero Absalom, lo gettarono in una grande fossa nella foresta ed ammassarono sopra di lui un enorme mucchio di pietre; quindi tutto Israele fuggí, ciascuno alla sua tenda.
