Se afla acolo şi Ţadok, împreună cu toţi leviţii, ducând Chivotul Legământului cu Dumnezeu. Leviţii au aşezat Chivotul lui Dumnezeu jos, iar Abiatar a adus jertfe până când au ieşit toţi din cetate.
