T hen Rachel said, “God has judged my case; and He has also heard my voice and given me a son.” Therefore she called his name Dan.

فَقالَتْ راحِيلُ: «لَقَدْ سَمِعَ اللهُ صَلاتِي وَأنصَفَنِي إذْ رَزَقَنِي بِوَلَدٍ.» وَلِهَذا سَمَّتْهُ راحِيلُ دانَ.
