E ntonces me postré delante del Señor como al principio, por cuarenta días y cuarenta noches; no comí pan ni bebí agua, a causa de todo el pecado que habían cometido al hacer lo malo ante los ojos del Señor, provocando así Su ira.

I fell down before the Lord, as at the first, forty days and nights; I neither ate bread nor drank water, because of all your sin which you had committed in doing what was evil in the sight of the Lord to provoke Him to anger.
