T ambién Senaquerib escribió cartas para insultar al Señor, Dios de Israel, y para hablar contra El, en que decía: “Como los dioses de las naciones de las tierras no han librado a sus pueblos de mi mano, así el Dios de Ezequías no librará a Su pueblo de mi mano.”

He also wrote letters insulting Yahweh, the God of Israel, and to speak against him, saying, “As the gods of the nations of the lands, which have not delivered their people out of my hand, so shall the God of Hezekiah not deliver his people out of my hand.”
