A demás de todo esto escribió letras en que blasfemaba al SEÑOR Dios de Israel, y hablaba contra él, diciendo: Como los dioses de los gentiles de los países no pudieron librar su pueblo de mis manos, tampoco el Dios de Ezequías librará al suyo de mis manos.

He also wrote letters insulting Yahweh, the God of Israel, and to speak against him, saying, “As the gods of the nations of the lands, which have not delivered their people out of my hand, so shall the God of Hezekiah not deliver his people out of my hand.”
