E ntonces uno de ellos salió al campo a recoger hierbas, y encontró una viña silvestre y de ella llenó su manto de calabazas silvestres, y vino y las cortó en pedazos en la olla de potaje, porque no sabía lo que eran.

One of them went out into the field to gather plants. He found a wild vine, and gathered wild gourds from it. He came and cut them up in the pot of food, not knowing what they were.
