C uando El arrancó a Israel de la casa de David, ellos hicieron rey a Jeroboam, hijo de Nabat. Entonces Jeroboam apartó a Israel de seguir al Señor, y les hizo cometer un gran pecado.

For Israel had rent from the house of David; and they had made Jeroboam the son of Nebat king; and Jeroboam violently turned Israel from following Jehovah, and made them sin a great sin.
