J oshua said to them, “If you are a numerous people, go up to the forest and clear a place for yourself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the Rephaim, since the hill country of Ephraim is too narrow for you.”

– Dacă sunteţi un popor atât de numeros şi nu vă mai cuprinde regiunea muntoasă a lui Efraim, le-a răspuns Iosua, atunci duceţi-vă spre pădure şi tăiaţi-o ca să vă faceţi loc în teritoriul periziţilor şi al refaiţilor!
