Deuteronomy 29:18 ~ Deuteronom 29:18

s o that there will not be among you a man or woman, or family or tribe, whose heart turns away today from the Lord our God, to go and serve the gods of those nations; that there will not be among you a root bearing poisonous fruit and wormwood.

Să nu existe printre voi nici un bărbat sau femeie, nici un clan şi nici o seminţie a căror inimă să se întoarcă astăzi de la Domnul, Dumnezeul nostru, ducându-se să slujească zeilor acestor neamuri. Să nu existe printre voi nici o rădăcină care produce otravă sau amărăciune.
