T hen Daniel replied with discretion and discernment to Arioch, the captain of the king’s bodyguard, who had gone forth to slay the wise men of Babylon;

لَكِنَّ دانِيالَ أرسَلَ رِسالَةً إلَى أرْيُوخَ رَئِيسِ جَلّادِيِّ المَلِكِ الَّذِي عَيَّنَهُ لِقَتلِ حُكَماءِ بابِلَ.
