T he guardrooms of the gate toward the east numbered three on each side; the three of them had the same measurement. The side pillars also had the same measurement on each side.

أمّا الحُجُراتُ الَّتِي فِي مَمَرِّ البَوّابَةِ الشَّرقِيَّةِ، فَهِيَ ثَلاثُ حُجُراتٍ عَلَى كُلِّ جانِبٍ مِنَ جانِبَيِّ المَمَرِّ. وَكانَتْ لِجَميعِ الحُجُراتِ المَقايِيسُ نَفسُها، وَلِجُدرانِها الجّانِبِيَّةِ المَقايِيسُ نَفسُها فِي كُلِّ اتِّجاهٍ.
